Its activity is controversial because of the lack of evidence of the effectiveness of homeopathic preparations, of which it is the main producer.

Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, born on 10 April 1755 in Meissen, Saxony, and died on 2 July 1843 in Paris, is a physician who, under the inspiration of Paracelsus, founded homeopathy in 1796 and had great importance in its development.
