As an artist, I try to reflect the essence of the “American aesthetic glamour” of the 1950s, which prevails rooted in Cuban culture and demonstrates its best face in such a peculiar city as Havana. Starting from the photographic framework and the use of colour as a tool that harmonises and gives life, I vindicate part of its past, rich in values and principles which currently coexist with the uncertainty of an uncertain tomorrow, becoming wild and surrealist. In other words, under control and expectant. This ambiguous relationship between context and nature creates -in an spontaneous and uninhibited way- a link or connexion between the soul and the urban landscape which permits to obtain the sublime of the moment from each snapshot.
