Small solid silver cup/bowl.
Japan, circa 1920-1940
With the hallmark of the Asahi Shoten goldsmith company on the reverse,
as well as "Sterling", however Ashahi Shoten only uses 950 silver, not 925 silver.
160 grams worth of silver.
Very beautiful shape with multiple lobes which reminds of the imperial Chrysanthemum flower.
In good condition, a few micro-scratches from wear and a light dent on the side.
More visible scratches on the back of the heel, see the pictures.
A very beautiful item, understated elegance, produced by Japan's most renowned goldsmith.
