Signed by Elisabeth den Bieman de Haas, gallery owner and good friend of Corneille.

With 200 illustrations including 123 in colour. Hardcover with dust jacket, 128 pp., dim. 30.5 × 22 cm.

3. Karel Appel, published by Meulenhoff / Landshoff 1980. Author: Alfred Frankenstein.
Hardcover with dust jacket, 191 pp., dim. 28 × 30 cm.
More than one hundred colour reproductions, including two folding triptychs. And thirty ink drawings created especially for this book.
Unfortunately pages 101/102 are missing, with some text and the reproduction ‘Gezicht als een waterval’.
