This stylish and sleek beauty was designed in the 1970s by Louis Kalff (1897-1976) and produced by Phillips with the model name Timor 69. The shade and foot are varnished in matte black, which combines beautifully with the chrome colour of the stand. The lamp is marked with the well-known Philips logo on the base. Attached to the lamp is the original plug with the brand name of Philips.

The lamp still has a modern look due to its sleek design. A wonderful lamp which fits in any contemporary interior.

Louis Kalff has designed many iconic lamps for Philips. Besides being a designer, Louis Kalff was also a successful architect. His architectural masterpiece is the Philips "Evoluon" exhibition centre which was realised in Eindhoven in 1966.
