I am offering this exceptional little diminutive Wanyugo Senufo mask, region of Korogho in Ivory Coast.
These masks are rare to find on the market since the latter are considered to be very powerful by the Senufo, these are feared and stored apart from other fetishes, in a special hut, and are very rarely taken out, even more for such a diminutive version, making it unique.
According to the famous appraiser Mr. Lehuard, this is an altar mask which dates back to the early 20th century, its certificate will be joined; good condition, magnificent ancient patina of wear; length 16 cm; with a beautiful stand in plexiglass.
