Very finely etched and cut décor of pine cones and pine needles. Graceful and by the regular tight repetition also with a strong abstract feeling. A layer of blue glass over a layer of green glass on a surface of milky white glass, matte etched. Signed: D'Argental. NICOLAS, Paul ( Laval 1875 – 1952 Nancy ) is one of the prominent artists of the Ecole de Nancy. He first worked at Emile Gallé, and started his own production after the first world war.
