Fangio and Sir Stirling moss signed print
Here we offer a fantastic original signed limited print named the train. The great artwork is signed by two legendary motorsport legends, Sir Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, it’s depicting the team mates in a battle for victory in their Mercedes Benz W196 during the 1955 Belgian grand prix. The print is created by motor sport artist Allan Stammers and signed by both drivers in 1993. The Print is called “The Train” because the team mates could be regularly seen battling it out while driving wheel-to-wheel during the races, in this particular race Fangio was the victor with Moss finishing second.
Both Race legends where also participated in the 24h of Le Mans, Sir Stirling Moss best result was second in 1954 and Juan Manuel Fangio participated in the 1955 24h Le Mans but did not finish . 1955 was the year of the catastrophic crash, which came to be known as the 1955 Le Mans disaster, this remains the deadliest accident in the history of motorsport, After this Fangoi never participated again
This great limited edition print comes fully complete with a COA and the photo proof of the signing. This is a rare and very south after print and it is still in very good condition, always kept out of UV light in a smoke free room, the size of the print is (86.3 x 66cm)
