Rare volume of the series Derrière le Miroir by the publisher Maeght of Paris made in honour of Aimé and Marguerite Maeght with the participation of 24 artists who have created 21 original lithographs for this precious work, of which 10 on double page and 11 on full page (Chagall, Mirò, Van Velde, Rebeyrolle, Tapies, Tal-Coat, Alechinsky, Ubac, Pol Bury, Klaphecke, Titus-Carmel, Kelly, Bazain , Adami, Arakawa, Riopelle, Takis, Garache, Gardy Artigas, Friedler, Steinberg), as well as 3 original screen prints, one of which is on double page (Chillida, Palazuelo, Monroy). Contribution of 32 writers, among which: François Chapon, Jean-Paul Sartre, Michel Foucault, Pierre Reversy, Tristan Tzara, Jacques Prévert, Italo Calvino, Meyer Shapiro, Samuel Becket, André Breton. Numerous photos of artists and reproduction of drawings by Matisse and Giacometti. Volume in excellent condition, large format (38x28x3 cm), 116 pages, 170 grams paper, weight: 1,250 kg.
The lithographs were printed in the Maeght atelier in Paris.
