Exclusive snuffbox in bone dating back to the early 19th century, probably belonged to Fanny Cerrito.
On the upper part of the flap there are embossed pictures of a dancer with theatre curtains and the name of the dancer ‘Fanny Cerritto’, which would be none other than Fanny Cerrito. Perhaps a mistake of the craftsman who made this snuffbox who, in order not to waste resources, time and bone, highly precious at the time, completed and delivered the snuffbox to the dancer Fanny.
