A very large ivory okimono of a farmer with birds. Beautiful carving with subtle features. Natural patina and usual traces of wear and age. Signed in the base. Delivered with ceritificate of authenticity.

Measurements: H: 32 x W: 17 x D: 15 cm.
Condition: Good. The shovel, rope and feet are glued. Tip of the wing of small bird is damaged.
Weight: 1307 gram.

Japanese artefact from the Meiji Era (approx. 1890-1910). The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
