Halfway between urban art and conceptual art, Rero questions on one hand the context of art, and on the other the codes of the image and intellectual property through an acronym that appears regularly in his pieces: WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Diversion and self-censorship- he crosses out his messages with a thick black line- are the watchwords of his studies on the negation of the image. By radical construction, where everything must be shown and nothing should be hidden, Rero determines the boundary between the inside and the outside.
For this book, he decided to list the 26 letters of the alphabet as if they were in an alphabet book by giving each one a word that has meaning to his work- copyright, nature, obsolescence, zoom... –and by asking various external participants to echo his work with a text written for the occasion.
