Karadja - Carpet - 343 cm - 109 cm

Description
Karadja - Carpet - 343 cm - 109 cm
Wool on cotton - Iran - First half 20th century

On offer; Very rare Antique Karadja runner from Iran.

Karadja rugs are a real treat for the collector as these rugs are made from a small isolated village in a rural area North-West from Tabriz. This area is only accessible through a single unpaved/ dirt road which explains the real cultural historical touch these rugs have.

This rug is still in good condition and is made in very rare color settings. Colors are still beautiful and give off an amazing ancient glamour, pile and fringes on overall good apart from some distress, fringes intact. Shows traces of usage and aging.

Would make an excellent investment and a very captivating addition to any interior! Unique rug!
