Swiss watch manufacturer.
In 1918, under the direction of William Baume, the company "Baume Frères" merged with the Genevan watchmaker, Paul Mercier, son of a Tsarist officer. Since 1921 the company has been called "Baumer & Mercier, fabrication Genève" In 1945 the watch manufacturer was relocated to La Côte-aux-Fées.
Beautiful original collector's watch, steel with gold coating from Switzerland. Original movement calibre ETA 2390. Movement and dial in top original condition.

Beautiful original dial - gold coloured. Signed with company logo BAUME & MERCIER GENEVE. Quarter division with fine black lines. Signed SWISS MADE at the bottom. Blue central second hand - time hands likewise blue. Interesting and beautiful bezel, gold-plated.
Movement cal. ETA 2390 (stamped under the balance) - movement in original condition - rose gold coloured with gold gears and chatons - polished gears. Ruby bearing jewel - signed BAUME & MERCIER 17 JEWELS SWISS.

Outside of back lid inscribed 719324 under which 25003 inside BAUME & MECIER GENEVE FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE.
