U.S. Route 66 or in short Route 66 (US66) was a historic highway (U.S. Highway) in the United States, which began in Chicago, and ended on the pacific beach in Santa Monica near Los Angeles. The total length was 3940 km. US66 runs through Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.
The road is also called the Will Rogers Highway.
