A unique limited edition 2008 Rum Cask 17 years old. The Balvenie Rum Cask 17 Years Old first matured in traditional oak barrels, after which the whiskey has undergone a second period of ripening in rum barrels from Jamaica. The traditional oak barrels gives Cask 17 Years Old the light vanilla aroma which is so characteristic of the Balvenie whiskeys, while the lagering in rum barrels adds the rich and spicy aromas. Stewart leaves no doubt that this limited edition will be special and pleasant surprise.
