Jupiter - Chronograph – Cal. Valjoux 22 -Size 37 MM - Men - 1901-1949

Very beautiful and rare Jupiter brand chronograph, spectacular original cream-coloured dial with very faint patina due to age (see the photos, complaints about the dial won't be accepted), rare applied Roman numeral markers, printed in black as is the brand logo, distinctive blue external tachymeter scale, gorgeous burnished steel hands, Plexiglas crystal in excellent condition, crown without logo, chromed casing in perfect condition, steel pressure fit case back, hand-wound movement manufactured by Valjoux, a very high-quality and rare calibre 22 with column wheel chronograph. The chronograph keeps time well over 24 hours and also works perfectly as a stopwatch (starts and resets well) but has not been recently serviced. The timepiece measures 37 mm excluding the crown, 18 mm lug width, 220 mm leather strap, not original, buckle not original. Very rare chronograph made by Jupiter in the mid-1940s, in perfect condition both aesthetically and mechanically, all original, very beautiful and elegant on the wrist, a true collector's item.
