Produced between 1963 and 1968, the Rolex Daytona 6239 is one of the most popular watches among enthusiasts. This model became particularly popular because it was owned by movie icon Paul Newman. The actor received the watch as a gift from his wife, Joanne Woodward. The original piece that belonged to the American actor was auctioned at "Winning Icons - Legendary Watches of the 20th Century" at a record price of 15.5 million dollars.
