Early Swiss chronograph watch by Rovia Switzerland - watch with split-seconds chronograph calibre Valjoux 222 - rare!
This timepiece was manufactured around 1950.
Watch size: 38 mm without crown - with crown 41 mm - weight 57 g
Black dial - original condition. Arabic luminous numerals. Two sub-dials. Small seconds at nine o'clock and 30 minute counter at three o'clock. Original stick hands - silver coloured. Gold-coloured chronograph hand. Minute markers with Arabic numerals in multiples of 5 - (original dial - signed 'ROVIA WATCH' below 12 o'clock). 'TYPE 20' above 6 o'clock
Movement: original silver-coloured calibre Valjox 222 in original condition - an esteemed calibre amongst collectors, which is also rare. Chatons, silver and gold wheels. 222 stamped below the escapement

The watch is in a very good, original, slightly used condition.
