Paul Wyler founded this company with his brother Alfred on the 28th of March, 1924.
In 1934 Wyler was official sponsor of the football world championship in Italy. The watch company Wyler and the Milanese company Innocente Binda closed ranks. Wylver Vetta was born and quickly achieved success in Italy
Rare collector's watch by VETTA signed Cronografo. Very nice condition.
This timepiece was manufactured around 1950.
Timepiece size: 38 mm without crown. With crown 40 mm - oversize - weight 44 g
Gold-coloured dial - a fine look. Arabic numerals. Small seconds at 9 o'clock. Minute counter at 3 o'clock. Blued arrow hands and blued chronograph hands from the centre. Outer scales. Inscribed with CRONOGRAFO VETTA and SWISS below 6 o'clock - original condition therefore signs of wear.
Movement VETTA - signed VETTA Calibre Valjoux 22. Gold wheels, chatons and ruby jewel settings. The movement is in beautiful, original condition - functioning movement.
Pressed back. 385944 on the back. ACIER INOXYDABLE in the inside.
The watch is in very nice original condition and therefore has signs of wear, especially on the dial. A fine collector's watch.
