Garbo is a cascade of shimmering light, a wall of transparent threads that moves to the slightest breeze creating a luminous sparkle. It is a true magical presence to any space.
Bianca is suitable to divide spaces or emphasize an exhibition.
Rectangular ceiling element: the white fabric fringe applied to the fixture is easily removable and washable, heat-resistant and fireproof. The expected ceiling-to-ground height is 300 cm. It is also possible cutting the fringe to shorten it.
It is a luminous diaphragm that separates the environment without limiting it, it can be crossed and, placed behind a window, creates fluctuating transparency.
The lamp's name was initially 'Bianca'. Later, it was acquired by Sirrah and reviewed by Mario Yagi who, at the suggestion of Dino Gavina, renamed it Garbo, as a tribute to actress Greta Garbo, and also to emphasize its elegance and unique beauty.
Garbo is part of the Tokyo National Modern Museum permanent collection.
