At auction an extremely rare and very interesting Lotus and LSR automobilia and memorabilia lot with five letters/documents:

Original and official.

1)

SIAS Monza -- Rapporto dell’Incaricato al Controllo di Tentativo di Primato

(Report from the Primacy Attempt Control Officer).

Dated 8/10/1956.
Signed by the Monza Track Director Mr. Gianni Restelli.
With all the information regarding the Lotus Climax record attempt with MacKay-Frazer as the official driver (1927/1957).

2)

Autombile Club d’Italia - Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (C.S.A.I.) -- to F.I.A. in Paris.

Official document dated 11/10/1956 for both attemps of Mackay-Frazer with Lotus and, October 15th of the Cooper Climax of Arthur Owen -- French text.

S.I.A.S. Autodromo di Monza

9/10/956 --Technical Verification Report -- signed by Dr. Gianni Restelli.

Autombile Club d’Italia - Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (C.S.A.I.) -- to F.I.A. in Paris.

10/10/1956 - F text -- all information and time achieved in the Lotus Climax speed record attempt -- in Class G -- with all World Record speed records.

Federazione Italiane Cronometristi.

The official record certification -- signed by two Federazione time keepers Mr. Carlo Principato and Mr. Antonio Zerri -- with all specified record in the Km. 50, Km. 100 and Km. 200 with a world record of over 220 km/h.
