Gorgeous desk clock / sculpture. Unmistakable Jugendstil style, please note the details and quality of the materials.
The pewter part has a single punch under the devil with number ‘52’.
The watch bears the inner trademark of Junghans (a German watchmaker of the Jugendstil period).
I have only seen 2 equal watches at auction in Northern Europe. A very rare piece.
Estimated date: 1905.
Country of origin: Germany (Cologne).
Dimensions: height 29 cm, width 23 cm, depth 13 cm.
Weight: 2.182 kg.
