"Barn find" Chrysler Town and Country with a 440 ci V8 and automatic transmission
1st owner, newly delivered in Michigan and taken to Arizona 5 years later
Instruction booklet and build sheet present
We bought this splendid station wagon in Arizona where it had been in the original owner’s barn for almost 35 years (due to family circumstances)
On an invoice (see photo) dated 30-09-1986, the mileage was 62,246
The current mileage on 30-09-2020 is 724 miles more: 62,970
So in 34 years, it has only driven 724 miles
Due to standing still for a long time, we had to fix some things
Replaced:
Carburettor
Fuel tank
Tyres
Subframe
Silencer
Ball joints
Brake booster
Etc....
The car is otherwise in a unique original condition
1st paint, very neat interior, original spare wheel, booklets
Many invoices and registrations are still present
Equipped with a detachable tow bar
Of course, this car also has its drawbacks:
Left front seat: a seam is loose (see photo)
Fuel gauge doesn't work
Leaks a little oil
Has a few signs of wear on the exterior
Air conditioning will have to be refilled
These Chryslers are described as one of the largest station wagons ever manufactured
All import duties and VAT have been paid
We can help you with arranging transport throughout Europe.
The car is in Damwoude, the Netherlands.
