Very good condition, see description - 40×6×6 cm

Excellent and refined tanto with handle (tsuka) and scabbard (saya) in bone carved in bas-relief depicting scenes with sages and samurai dressed in his war armour. Steel blade with carved handle depicting the muzzle of a Kirin with coral inlay and horn in the eyes.
Signature engraved within rectangular reserve.

Excellent condition - with a small natural hole in the material on the handle and minor defects - see last three photos.
