Oil painting by the 19th century Avellino painter Giovanni Battista
(1858 - 1925), disciple of the Posillipo School.
A delightful glimpse of the Gulf of Naples, with a fisherman in his boat
in the foreground and Castel dell’Ovo and the Vesuvius in the background.
Signed G. Battista on bottom right.
In November 2018, a documentary exhibition was held in Avellino on the
painter "Giovanni Battista tra '800 e '900".
It comes from my private collection and it will be shipped with sturdy packaging,
tracking number provided.
