roomdivider - Wood - Rare two sided and painted wooden roomdivider with several geese strolling near a riverbed - Japan - Bakumatsu - Meiji period

Rare two sided wooden roomdivider, nicely decorated and painted partly in relief with on one side two geese strolling along a riverbed, with some herbs and lotus flowers on the side. On the reverse side one also two geese, watching eachother while one is flying almost arriving at the riverbed.
Some loss of paint but overall in good condition.
The lower panel on both sides, the frame and legs all decorated with a floral design in relief.
