Handwritten notary deed from the 18th century with the words ‘Titre de la maison’ (House deed) in a double-sided glass frame with a red wax stamp of ‘Bailliage royal de Romorantin et de Millançay’. 1770. Ink stamp on the back: ‘Généralité d'Orléans 20 sols’. Deed of sale of a house located 16 Grande rue de la Varanne in Romorantin between Joseph Philippe Bideau, a clothing tailor in Romorantin (France), and Louis Guillaume Girouille, a lawyer at the Parliament. Mention and various signatures.

Condition: Some gilding loss on the edge of the frame (see picture), in good condition otherwise.
