Beautiful tall dark blue cloisonné vase with three elegantly shaped red-crown cranes, in a box. The design of the cranes (tsuru) is inspired by the style of the famous Ogata Korin. Showa Period. In a wooden box.
Cranes stand for good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years. .
