Hanging scroll (2) - Bone, Silk - Kuraishi Matsuune (d. 1945) - Set of two very fine tiger and dragon scrolls - Japan - Early 20th century

Kuraishi Matsuune was born in Nagano prefecture in second half of 19th century. He studied under Araki Kanpo. Selected for the Bunten exhibition. He died in 1945 when he was about 70 years old.
Roller end: bone.

Very good condition, there are signs of wear due to age and normal use, stains, marks; please, see pictures for actual condition.
