Jielde floor lamp with 6 arms in polished graphite.
Length when extended: 2.8 m.
This lamp will look great in a loft, hallway, living room, etc.
In 1950 Jean Louis Domecq designed and manufactured an articulated lamp with circular contacts intended to be mounted onto machines.
An ingenious invention, see photo 3, joint with circular contacts and plates for insulation.
Another strong point is the handling hoop.
Jean Louis Domecq gave his name to the lamp with the phonetic initials JI EL DE.
Lamp salvaged from an old workshop, stripped and refurbished with care.
It has kept some signs of wear and light impacts from the time in the workshop, which adds to its charm.
All parts have been overhauled.
The electrical wiring conforms to standards, with earth connection.
The hood measures 160 mm, the inside has a shiny heat-resistant paint, 200mm hoop.
Water drop switch on the top.
Jielde plate on the top.
A 310 mm base for good stability.
E27 screw-in socket.
