Alvermann is the maker of "Algerien" ("L'Algerie"), 1960, "Keine Experimente", 1961 und "Ich liebe dich", 1979 and was mentioned by Martin Parr in the "Photonews" and the "Aperture magazine" as probably the most important photographer and bookmaker coming from east-germany.
