Spectacular Art Nouveau Jardinière made by the prestigious Czech porcelain factory, Royal Dux, with a Nymph seated on a shell.
Large-sized:
height 30 cm,
length 33 cm,
width 21 cm.
Weight: 1.8 kg.
The E mark (the initial of the founder, Eduard Eichler) in the pink clay triangle was used from 1900 to 1918.
Well preserved enamel.
A very fresh state of conservation.
A black spot on the nymph's right shoulder: it is not a break or crack but an original manufacturing defect (see pictures).
No other flaws.
The model number 1774 is visible on the underside.
From an important private collection.
