Jean GARNIER - Amphora

Very beautiful cast pewter amphora, Art Nouveau. Signed Jean Garnier. It is called “Mutualité” in homage to the French Mutualité created in 1902. It is finely carved in low relief with different motifs on both sides. With its rewarding shiny tin, it is mentioned in the chapter devoted to the artist of the reference book of the great specialist Philippe Dahhan "Etains 1900".
The item is signed by the artist at the bottom of the belly. Its name is listed on the other side. The bottom is engraved ‘Étain garanti pur’.
