Superior quality antique Victorian 1896 sterling silver rectangular hinged visiting card holder finely hand engraved with more than 150 crisply detailed leaves. The central shaped cartouche bears a "RD" interlaced monogram.

An exceptional collector's piece quite rare to find complete with original period interior pockets.

Fully hallmarked Birmingham Assay Office guarantee and "W" date letter for 1896 together with Colen Hewer Cheshire silversmith's mark
