A beautiful and dynamic sculpture of a lady who is listening at a shell.
The shell flows from the waves of the water and that is what the lady listens to.
The work was made by the French sculptor Joe Descomps (1869-1950).
It is made from a lovely quality bronze and has a round onyx pedestal.
Height: 28 cm.
Width: 12 cm.
Depth: 11 cm.
Weight: 3.3 kg.
Signature: J. Descomps.
The patina of the lady differs from that of the shell which creates a nice contrast. The shell can also serve as a vase (not for water).
In some places the patina is a bit worn, but otherwise it is in good condition, the photos speak for themselves.
Will be carefully packaged and shipped via registered and insured mail with Track and Trace.
