Beautiful terracotta animal sculpture by Armand Fagotto (around 1920-1930) of a lioness on a rock chasing a snake.
The quality of detail is striking for both the rock and the lioness body. Its strength and power are skilfully enhanced. Very detailed and naturalistic.
Signature on the back “A Fagotto. Made in Belgium. 1091"
Very decorative and a real eye-catcher.

In good overall condition. Some small wear of the patina on the back.
