Harrach - Vase

This Art Nouveau vase by Harrach consists of a green base glass mass with in it white opaque and red opaque glass. With a comb, feathers have been drawn in the hot glass and the glass has been vaporised with metal oxides, creating an iridescent effect. Then a glass enamel painting of a mistletoe was made and baked. A special and rare technique, you keep looking and discovering new things in this work of art.
