Distilled from the pure sugar cane juice at the Estate. First the rum is aged in French oak casks for a minimum of 6 years in the old cellars of Chamarel. The rum is then selected by the cellar master blender and extra aged in ex-Sauternes casks for another 12 month. This combination guarantees a perfect taste and delivers a smooth long finish.

Taste: Extremely complex, warm spices with notes of vanilla, dried fruits, dates, honey and hints of lemon and orange peel.

The Sauternes is one of the most famous French sweet Wine from the Sauternais region in Bordeaux. It brings aromas of apricots, honey, peaches with a nutty note, which is a typical characteristic of noble Semillon.
