Gaston Ferdière (1907-1990) was a French poet and doctor/psychiatris, who was close to the surrealists.
In this capacity, he treated Antonin Artaud, Isidore Isou and Unica Zürn. He was a proponent and practitioner of electroshock therapy.
Eretomania is, essentialy, a psychological disorder marked by the delusional belief that one is the object of another person's love or sexual desire.
The work offered here is a reference in the field, being cited even today due to its great intellectual and scientific values.
Rare book to be found on the market, it is presented here in good condition, being very clean on the inside, with just a few pencil underlines. The sensitive cover is slightly dirty.
