Description
A pair of candlesticks on a red and white veined marble base (63.5 cm) (2)
France - 1890-1919 - Goldplate, Marble, Zamac

Elegant couple of Art Nouveau candlesticks, on a red and white veined marble base. Ca. 1880.

Rare couple of candlesticks from the Art nouveau period.

Made of zamak with a bronze patina, with a red and white veined marble base
which is finished with gilded ornaments.

Condition: the candlesticks are in a well-preserved condition for their age, only a crack can be seen in photo 7&23, but because of the rod that runs through the candlesticks, the candlestick is still 1 whole.

In photo 18 you can see that a small piece is missing from the leaf.
In photo 16 you can also see a small crack in the right arm (is still firmly stuck by the rod that runs through the arm).
