Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen (1859-1923) - original Cocorico publisher's binder 1898-99 - Book (1)

An original and very rare publisher's binder for the magazine Cocorico with the famous rooster designed by Steinlen. These binders could be bought separately and taken to a bookbinder to have a years run of the magazine bound in. Very rare to find one in unused condition! This one is for the year 1898-99. Printed with embossing and gold ink. Made of cardboard covered with fabric. Size unfolded is 50 x 30,4 cm. Some wear to the extremities.
