Terrillon (Octave Roch Simon) Des ruptures de l’urethre. These presentee au concours pour l’agregation (section de chirurgie et d’accouchements) et soutenue a la faculte de medecine de Paris. Paris, Octave Doin, 1878. Handwritten dedication by the author, 228 pp., two fold-out tables, one illustration outside the text, recently bound hardcover with marbled paper, gilded title on the spine. In good condition.
Terrillon pleaded in 1882 for the use of boiling water for the disinfection of surgical instruments. France published a stamp with a portrait of Dr. Terrillon in April 1957. The stamp has depictions of a microscope, an autoclave and some surgical instruments.
