Vladimir Majakovski; El Lissitzky - Voor de stem - 2012

Copy in good condition of ‘Voor de stem. Dertien gedichten van Vladimir Majakovski in een boekconstructie door El Lissitzky’, a publication from 2012 in two softcover volumes in paper slipcase. One volume contains the Dutch translation by Marja Wiebes and Margriet Berg of Mayakovsky's text for ‘Dlia Golosa’, which was originally published in Berlin in 1923. Bengt Jangfeldt and Willem Jan Renders wrote an exposé on the creation of the original. The other volume is a facsimile in colour of ‘Dlia Golosa’, as designed by El Lissitzky in his signature dynamic, sometimes asymmetrical typography in red and black with tabs on the right.
