I: 1 plate on the frontispiece depicting flowers, watercoloured by hand, 1 floral composition, 15 portraits (the portrait of A. Thouin is missing) and 3 maps of gardens; in vol. II: 13 watercoloured plates of flowers, 2 watercoloured plates of birds, 2 maps of gardens and 3 views. Beautiful full blue canvas binding, richly decorated with gold flowers and colour paintings on the top plate, with gold portrait of Guy de la Brosse on the bottom plate and with panorama, ornamental frets, title, author, publisher and date in gold on the spine. Rich golden edges. Each plate is protected by tissue paper. A very well preserved copy.
