This beautiful MG B Tourer dates from early January 1968 and came to the Netherlands in 2001. Which is where it has been restored and it currently is in a very neat and ready-to-use condition. The Dutch periodic vehicle inspection is valid until late September 2021.
The car is 52 years old (!). A lovely vehicle. Beautiful original upholstery, and it has a lot of appeal. Rock solid, hardly any rust. The bottom also is fine.
The MG is equipped with the well-known MG four-cylinder engine that has 1798cc, 96 HP and a manual four-speed gearbox with overdrive. This overdrive is engaged by a little switch on the gear lever, which is acting a bit peculiar as it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
The car can be delivered with Dutch EU export documents, no additional fee required, so a new foreign owner can easily register the car in his or her country.
A very nice and good car, largely in original condition and newly repainted. The lacquer has some imperfections but this does not stand out and it hasn’t been mentioned in the appraisal, I’m just stating it here for the sake of completeness. The car is in fine condition. The nicely chromed Rostyle wheels finish off the whole.
A beautiful time capsule, and a popular classic!
On 30 September 2019, the car was valued at 11,000 euros (see pictures). The complete report is available.
The car is in Hengevelde, the Netherlands.
The seller can arrange relatively cheap transport throughout Europe, even now during the coronavirus crisis. Worldwide transport is not a problem as this would be done by a professional transport company.
