Important and authentic Art Nouveau glass vase by the Établissements Gallé in Nancy.
French Art Nouveau period (1905)
The colorless glass body of this beautiful vase is underlayed with a bright yellow layer with a light shine of green in the middle part.
The vase is decorated with wisteria flowers and leaves that have been acid etched out of a violet overlay. Interior of upper part has an additional rare underlay in opaque rose. The whole colour palette on this extraordinary vase almost looks like candies.
Acid etched signature with star and falling wisteria petal.
(The star was only added to signatures between 1904-1906 in honor of Emile Gallé who died in 1904)
