Hettier & Vincent - Art Deco chandelier Hängelampe

Hettier & Vincent - Art Deco chandelier Hängelampe
France - ca. 1930

A nice French 1925-1930 art deco hanging fixture by Hettier et Vincent in nickel plated bronze. The mount holds a beautiful globe in thick clear frosted moulded-pressed glass. This model is always unsigned and represented in the catalogue of Verreries des Hanots. Beautiful pattern of butterflies and flowers. It was used by Hettier et Vincent for pendants and chandeliers.

The lamp is represented in the Hettier & Vincent catalogue supplement #1 plate 131. The nickel plated solid brass or bronze fixture is of excellent quality. Very fine detailed work as can be expected from Hettier & Vincent. Note the ingenious and patented system of the H&V chain which allows the electrical wire to run as it were inside the chain.

The pendant has a height of 48 cm and the globe has a diameter of about 17 cm. Of coarse I can shorten the chain on request. It is in excellent condition. I have renickeled and patinated the mounting and it comes rewired. It has a european E14 socket. For the US or Japan I will place a new US candelabra base one.

Safe packaging guaranteed : As specialized restorer of French art Deco lighting for over 20 years I ship my parcels worldwide with the fragile items well protected and fully insured.
