Entirely handwritten letter of Esprit Requien sent from Ajaccio to Prof. Puccinlli of Lucca.
Inside the letter, the famous French naturalist informs that he is sending samples of shells and plants that will soon arrive at the port of Livorno with the ship and then apologizes for not having had time to prepare other samples.
Requien then requires the sending of two specimens, one for himself and one for the library in Avignon.
He ends the letter by informing Puccinelli of the catalogue of shells and molluscs and requires some signatures of Italian characters for his collection.
Posted letter with stamps and handwritten recipient on the back.
