Yazd - Carpet - 317 cm - 197 cm

Yazd: (Yazd carpet or Yezd): hand-knotted carpet, from the city of Yazd, in the centre of Iran. They look a lot like the Kerman carpets. They feature a richly detailed pattern, a high pile, and a variable colour palette that often includes a typical purplish-blue red. The warp and weft are made of cotton.
